Aircraft in question is a "C" model but I can make the tail number jive with its current assignment. You can find the photo at [Link pending approval]
Tail shows that it is assigned to:
20 FW - Shaw AFB, South Carolina - 'SW'
79 FS "Tigers" (USAF ACC)
However, when looking up the tail number here and on other sources on the net I get that the only possibilities of "035" of the "00" year could be either of the following:
00-1035 F-16D Block 52 with the IDFAF
00-6035 F-16E Block 60 with the UAEAF
Did this airframe get sent back to the states? Anybody shed any light on the complete tail number?
Thanks all, in advance,
Stan |

Thanks Jensen, the searches I did didn't hit on the page you supplied. When reading your reply above (before seeing the explanation in the link) I was thinking, why on earth would they renumber it. Threw me through a big loop
It's amazing some of the monkey business that is done with tail numbers.
Thank again,
Stan |
