| F-16s were once flow by the Happy Hooligans from KFAR, however opperations ended in 2006 when the Hooligans transitioned to Predator drones. There are however still two F-16s present. One is on display in the air park near the main gate. There is also a second on the base parked on a remote taxiway near the old ammo bunkers. Does any one know the serial numbers of the aircraft and does anyone have any information about the one on base? I heard a rumor that it is one of the ones that overflew the Pentagon on 9-11, but can anyone confirm this? BTW, this is my first post on this site, and I must say, so far I'm impressed. |

| I was doing some setup for the Fargo Air Sho, and with a borrowed camera, I was able to get a shot of it. The number on the tail is clearly 80-0605. The [Link pending approval] database however says that this is the aircraft that is up on blocks in the NDANG memorial park. Since 80-0605 is obviously not the one in the memorial park, which one is? |

Hi,
I have 80-0605 and 82-0926 both listed as 'preserved' at Fargo, ND. When did you see these two (to update my last noted dates)?
HTH,
