I was a Fireball for a short stint; '95 to '96! Came on just as the squadron was getting rid of the last 'Varks and accepting the Vipers. Too bad the Vipers we got were old and in need of so much maintenance. Didn't have the engine cycles that we needed, either. Didn't start off too good.
Understand the squadron's first F-16 commander is now a brig general; good on him!  |
