| Ok, so I don't believe in ET first of all. But, on the 4th of July I did see something weird and I couldn't identify it, or them. Maybe someone here has an idea. Clear night while watching fireworks in Concord CA about 500 yards from a Naval Weapons Station. They flew directly over the crowd, me and my wife as well as others around us did see them. My eyes weren't adjusted well because duh, there were large fireworks going off. What it looked like was a small rectangular parachute with a dim flashing green light underneath (like a flare with a parachute only no flare). The light looked about like a LED, small and dim. I thought maybe a balloon, but they flew perfectly straight and level, but very slow. Too slow to be a model airplane, too fast to be a balloon, and no "bobbing", just perfectly level. Maybe 300-500 feet off the ground. I saw one, then a few seconds later a second flew over, same speed and direction. I'm thinking either a fire department had some type of UAV for looking for fires or maybe the NWS did, but I never thought we flew anything like that over US cities. Anyway, I know the firworks show had my eyes all messed up, but there were two of them and that's about all I can describe. |

| Did a Google search of "UFO Concord, CA" and was surprised to see similar reports of slow flying 'rectangles with lights below' have been reported over Concord (last year, this time). |

I looked at those google reports, totally different. Oh well.... I doubt if anyone here knows what it was would say in an open chat. I'll assume it was something from the Naval Weapons Station, probably making sure no misfire started a fire on the base. They moved at the speed of something gliding with a green flashing light below with what appeared to be a rectangular white chute above illuminated be the fireworks.
Que the spooky music... |
