Do you guys know if there is a list of the first say 50 pilots, like the one the F-16 programme had, including ranking, name of pilot, date of first flight, service (USAF, USN, USMC, contractors etc).

Code One Magazine has a pilot list - they also have a numbering system - who's on first etc: [I'm on slow dialup so accessing the slow Code One Website may take some time]

And there are four pages so far and up to pilot 42 as of June 2012. The recent ANG pilot has not made the list (needs updating).

I wonder if LM has a plaque with the names of the first 50 pilots.

WHY NOT ASK THEM?

We just updated the roster today. We were waiting for photos for a couple of them, which arrived today. The list is up to 54 pilots now (does not include X-35). No plaque that I know of. Maybe when the list reaches 100. Enjoy.

Oh yeah... because I'm sure the initial cadre will be very forthcoming in the public media on every aspect of their real feelings on the F-35.

I'm gonna ignore the obvious trolling for now and get to the point, which is this: Even sugar-coated statements can be useful when they come from several dozen people answering the same question about the same experience.
