I read in an article in magazine as well as piecing through other information that there has been combined deployments to Southwest Asia.. not Iraqi or Afghanistan of F-22s with F-15Cs. Some of the units have worked together before when F-22s went to the Pacific ie Langley and Kadena. Looks like the 67FS and one of the Langley squadrons did a short stint over there and then the 493rd has deployed to work with Langley F-22s in the latest. Anyone else know about it?
As a handful of you are aware that the tactics for F-22s is evolving where the F-22 strike package commander has the ability to position and use non stealthy aircraft to take on opponents. Thats why you'll see the continued use of AESA equiped F-15Cs for sometime. |

| F-22s deployed with F-15Cs? This makes me wonder if the USAF has already done some pretty big upgrades to the Eagle, but on the down low. |

| AESA radar and some type of link to feed the data to the F-22. This is why the arguments on the F-35 board are so stupid. The F-15 has a bigger dish and RCS so it makes sense to have the F-15 emit and the F-22 shoot with the data provided. It's a system of systems. |
