| I have a photo that is labled Atlis II F-16 Flight Test 19 May 4 August 1978. The F-16 is Red White and Blue and says US Air Force on the side of it. It is an actual photo and I have had it since I was a child. I can't seem to find anything about it specifically. Any thoughts on what the Atlis II part is all about. That is how it is spelled. Is there a market for a photo like that? |

ATLIS: Automatic Target Illumination System is a French pod manufactured by Thomson CSF and marketed in the USA by Martin Marietta and carried by planes like the French Jaguar to launch precision weapons such as the Laser guided Aerospatiale AS30.

There are only e few air forces that have this pod adopted on the F-16. I think Pakistan and Thailand have, but I don't know any others. If you don't mind to share this picture with all of us, just upload it in the photo gallery.
