I was thinking a few days ago and am I the only one who thinks that the F-16 should be kept as the USAF Thunderbirds main plane?replay with your thoughts.

| I don't think there are enough F-22s to replace the F-16s. For the F-35 to do it, that would still be at least 10 years after the first active squadron comes online. We would have to have some JSFs to spare to do that. On that same note...will the F-35 replace the F-18 in the Blue Angels? |

I dunno I'd kinda like to see the F-16 to stay on with the Thunderbirds (same with the F-18 and the blue angels)it would be kinda nostalgic...but with age,airframe stress and USAF hire brass wanting to show the advanced technology the USAF has at its disposal it seems that the F-35 will be the next ambassador in blue for the USAF..
