Not to my knowledge, but curious to know if any of you have information pertaining to such?
I personally feel if the Iraqi's had Foxhounds vs. Foxbats, Desert Storm may have been a WHOLE 'nother ball game. Hell, the Foxbats put up a hell of a fight as it was - even (supposedly) downing an F-18 the first night of the war. Other instances saw them being tough kills vs. F-15's, and even evading them despite (7, I think it was?) Sparrow shots.
Dunno. Just seems like Mig could have finally scored some points on the air-to-air board vs. getting waxed all the time. Not that I'd want that for any allied pilot, but the Mig-31 (sans the SU-27), seems like it'd be the one to beat! |

According to wiki Kazakstan have 33 of them. Don't think it can be counted as export, it's probably a leftover from the breakup of USSR.
Best Regards |

A fast interceptor with a powerful radar and (to the best of my knowledge) a potent missile load is not a threat to ignore.
