does anyone know what happened to the f-15 that crashed in libya? i heard that the DoD is saying it was a "mechanical failure" but i bet gadaffi is braging that he shot it down.

Looks to me like it spun into the ground...ref the "pancake" rubble...
You can infer why it was in a spin on your own...I have my suspicions.
