So I was reading the manual about the consoles and it said, "If the autopilot is set to Combat, your F-16 will actually fly and fight by itself. It will evade attacking aircraft, try to get you into position to shoot down any enemy aircraft and will also fire your weapons. The Combat autopilot will also automatically refuel you if you request refueling from a [Link pending approval];
How do you set it to Steerpoint and Combat and how well does the autopilot fight? |

Most be something I missed during the conversion course! I knew I should have studied more...
Never heard of a combat autopilot.
The only thing the autopilot can do for you in combat (if you play your cards right) is to get you to 10 G's, and if you then win the engagment and live to fly home, the crewchief will probably kill you when he finds out about the over G. |

| He's talking about Falcon 4.0 I'm guessing. And the autopilot behavior - 2-axis(?), steerpoint or combat - is set in the game's difficulty menu. |
