Of course, it wouldn't be a good pilot movie if someone didn't crash at least one.

...and this time it isn't firing twin cannons from the intakes!

They used the old prototype helmet's (with the large projectors) new ones are a lot lower profile.

At least they got the helmet right (at the time of the filming). IIRC the pilot in Die Hard had a normal helmet.

From what little I saw in the trailer, they got most of the marking right also.

In the last superman movie the F-35's had HUDs.

I found a technical glitch in Green Lantern at the 0:32 mark. They mixed up the aspects of the A&B versions.

How they messed this up makes you wonder how much they are paying their technical advisers.

I like how they tried to keep the look & feel of the F-35 display layout. It also looks like he was having leading edge problems:

Maybe that is what he is flight testing, the F-35D ( pick-a-part from all three). Wink

I figured out what happened... it's the damn UCAVs that caused the problem Wink

I clearly violated the RoE for the exercise and collided with the F-35. It must have been pissed from the bad rep they got the last time it was tried ("Stealth" movie). Smile

I wonder if that is Abin Sur's craft crashing. Though it is dark when Hal runs into him in the trailer...

I do not think so for a couple of reasons:

1. No cockpit glass

2. No indication of combat

3. No missiles expended

4. There were two UCAVs in the video.

5. Abin Sur's craft seems very shiny and very faceted (think mirrored F-117).

Well...I know there will be a REAL F-4 and TA-4 in the movie...no flying but they're there!
