Oxygen bottle pull ring cable routing question

Trying to finish up my oxygen bottle pull cable routing on a simpit and not sure exactly what happens to the cable once it disappears into the base of the oxygen bottle fitting. Attached is an image of what I think the routing is so far. The inset pic makes it look like a smaller ring (in green) at the end of the pull cable that the oxygen hose slides through? Anybody with some operational info on how this works on the real seat?
