Hello from Portugal
My name is Jorge Ruivo, and I have a special hobby, take photos of military aircraft.
I live near Monte Real, home base of PoAF F-16 Vipers.
Portugal in growing with it F-16 fleet, and at this time, is converting the old OCU's F-16 in a Mid Life update Program ( MLU).
And this month, was the last flight of F-16A 15115, with a very nice ans special paint scheme of the 50th Aniversary of Monte Real Air Base. We call it "The Sabre", because as you can see at the link above, it has a F-86 Sabre over the wings, the first jet of Monte Real Air Base.
The 15115 will be converted in the MLU program, and the test flight could be in 18 months.
For me is one of the most beautiful F-16 I ever saw.

Hope you like it.
Best Regards

I like the F-86 painted on top and the silhouettes of the T-33, F-86, F-104(?), and one other aircraft I can't quite make out on the tail fins (anyone else have any ideas)? Nice paint job, thanks for sharing that with everyone.

Hello again.
Only to say that the silhouettes on the tail are: F-86; T-33; T-38 and A-7P.
All the jet fighters that were flying at Monte Real Air Base since the 1st year (1959).
Best Regards

Hello Henrik.
This F-16 was the last OCU. Then it was converted by the MLU program.
Right now it is flying as F-16 AM with new avionics and upgraded with new weapon capabilities ( missiles and smart bombs )
Regards
