This is my second post on stuff for the USAFA, but I really want to get in. What clubs and stuff does the Academy look very highly on. I know to have good grades and to join a lot of stuff such as JROTC and sports, but what else really stands out?

Well I'm sure Future Business Leaders Of America is one, anything that puts you in a leadership position is definetly one, I would join ROTC, excell at that, do SLS and all the extras in that.

National Honor Society is a good one and really any are good, especially if you're in a leadership position within it. Sports teams are good as well. Really, more than anything they just want to know you're involved in different things as well. Volunteering looks good on your applications as well.

The biggest mistake I made was thinking I was too cool for the programs that I did join and not showing up half the time etc etc, if your going to do that your better off not joining, EXPECIALLY if its ROTC.
