can anyone in here remember the names of the final commanders of the 86FW at Ramstein....

When I left Ramstein in 1993, I think Lt Col Jim Whitmore was the commander of the Black Knights, and was there when they closed down. I don't recall who was with the last of the Lucky Lizards.
Col Chuck Wald was the Ops Group Commander.
I'll have to check some old papers for the Wing King. |

| "Chuck" has 4-stars now (Deputy EUCOM) and "Jim" has 1 (if that's the same James Whitmore who I worked with 18 months ago). |
