Like the article says, there can be only one winner and the guys and gals working on the senior 5th Gen fighter won.
What does this mean? Absolutely nothing...other than squadron bragging rights.

From what I hear, the F-22 with its low weapons bays is no jet for an old ANG loader like me. Too much bending and squatting. Working Block 52 Vipers is tough enough. |

Then I hope you're not a short guy because the F-35 stands pretty tall. |

Shoot, I'll be long retired before my Guard wing gets those. |

F-22 Raptor loaders of the 411th AMU beat out the F-35's loaders of the 461st AMU...yet AGAIN :

Good job Staff Sgt. Alexe Perez, Staff Sgt. Marcel Ford and Senior Airman Douglas Covey for winning the 1st Quarter Competition.

“At the King Fahd International Airport, Saudi Arabia, 1991, an A-10 "Warthog" performs a high speed taxi as it returns to its parking spot, fuel and munitions expended in combat”
“As the aircraft receives fuel, the weapons load crew rushes to load munitions for the threat that still exists. Within minutes the aircraft taxis out for the next mission in the Gulf War”
Well done to the crew, and welcome to the future! I didn’t catch a time on the load but I’m sure it was to precision!
Even though a team effort, I have to say Kudos to the #2 Man (Jammer Driver) because if he contacted any part of the jet with his load ….It would be a Class A |

I agree. One of the harder part of the job...and can you imagine doing it routinely at night or in inclement weather? |

This ICT is very weak ...if you can find some old Sure-Fire video, you can see how it's done right!
