So is this at all possible? I basically have a job offer flying for one of the reserve units here but I am on contract with my ROTC detachment to commission. Is it at all possible to commission directly into the reserves? Any waivers that are out there or programs that offer this? I know about Palace Chase, but thats 2 yrs after EAD. I was curious about just going straight into reserve duty. Anyone that knows anything please let me know!

Salute!

There is a way.

My friend's daughter joined the reserve first, then went thru OTS and pilot training. She already had her college degree sans ROTC.

You might consider talking with your friendly reserve unit.

I also personally helped a guard troop get with a Viper Guard unit and thence to pilot training and so on.

Gums sends...
