I just saw a report in Popular Science stating that the USAF was looking for methods to improve airmen -- probably referring to pilots.

(I don't think that this is classified )

Seems that they want to somehow improve mental performance, possibly inhibit enemy performance, and protect US personell from mental impairment cause by enemy forces.

How sci fi is that ?
