It'd help if you ask specific questions.

air or decomposed hydrazine spins a turbine. the turbine drives a geartrain with a generator and a hydraulic pump. Wikipedia has a long article on hydrazine N2H4.

Although the term hydrazine is most always used to describe the EPU's fuel, the F-16 EPU uses a blend called H-70 which is 70% N2H4 and 30% water.

This device is powered by a mixture of hydrazine (70% hydrazine
and 30% water) also known as H-70, which produces the energy
needed to sustain voltage circuits and the hydraulic pressure in
case of failure of main engine.

The EPU is also used for dual hydraulic system failure, main generator failure (F-16A/B), main generator and standby generator failures (F-16C/D/E/F), and other partial electrical power loss situations.

IF the pilot gets aan inflight main battery failure warning he/she will manually start the EPU as a precaution. I have purged the EPU several times due to a small diode that was faulty. Shitty work purging and scrubbing. The chemical suits are allways too warm og too cold, never ever a comfortable temperature.
