I'm kind of surprised no one is talking about this. HO is loosing their Raptors:

Link

Elmo and Langley are getting 6 additional jets each and the 7th's jets are going to Tyndall. Sounds like each squadron at Elmo and Langley will get 23 TAA.

How much money did we waste basing F-22 at HO?

Disco, remember that the decision to base jets at HO was made prior to the official termination of production; they were planning on a larger fleet size. The squadron that is going to TY will remain a opertaional squadron. Tyndall will be reflagged as a ACC base and the squadron going there will have 21 jets in addition to the 43rd's 29 jets. Still no mention of what the new squadron will be.

Hi guys

HO is loosing its RAPTORS ... ok
2 * 20 per squadron = 40 birds
according to USAF : 6 * 1st WG + 6 * 3rd WG + 2 * 57th WG + 1 * 325th WG = 15 birds + one of the HO squadrons to Tyndall * 20 = 35 RAPTORS
what's about the others 5 birds ?
any idea ?
