| Nice. Always strange to see how dirty the Tornados are, we'd never get away with jets that dirty. |

Excellent photo gallery, airforcedk. Nice of you to link this here.
Now, I'm probably going to make some enemies here but imho, RDAF made a strategic mistake at this airshow... They missed a huge opportunity to better market what they have as a strategic strength for the existing F-16 fleets of the future.
Which strategic strength?? Terma.
Where are those Terma pods???
US Legacy F-16 today? Yes, even USAF F-16 super stallions should have the best equipment available to them, no? Especially since they are now being expected to patrol the skies until 2020-2025!!
These old war birds need the best systems upgrades they can get!
IMHO, flexible terma pod configurations can offer a very viable modernization kit for an affordable cost!
Wait, make that Terma pods (configured for optimal MWS + cueing for ATDIRCM)!
p.s., great photo #22 of the Gripen and Litening pod! (personal opinion - Gripen C w/ F414 upgrade, Litening G4, RACR AESA radar upgrade, Thales AEA EW center pod, 2x drop wing-tanks, 1x fuselage Meteor, 2x wing IRIS-T, 2x wing-tip AIM-9X). Affordable, asymmetrical next gen tactical. Call it a day..
Highest respects to RDAF ~ |

Terma had a booth at the Danish Airshow. But as the show was mainly aimed at the non-military public, it was difficult to promote the excellent Terma technology during the airshow.

Here is another photo of the Saab Gripen from a slightly different view and in a higher resolution (2048x1536):

You wouldn't by chance have made it to the Czech International Air Festival at Hradec Králové for photo shooting last week?
I just noticed a short vid of a participating Danish F-16 on display, equipped with yep, Terma pods!
