| My questions are the same. Which kit? Although it's a neat idea. |

Sorry for long waiting..........
This is the Academy Kit AC1688. It was the first 1/48 F-16 model I ever built a couple of years ago. I made a bad job but the kit is bad as well. I couldn´t put it in the trash. Than I had this idea.......
Liquid mask and 3 different coats of white (in the row: glossy, flat und semi-gloss) and new decals from a squadron which actually have sent it´s Vipers to ARMARG.
I prepared a diorama with sand and dry grass. It´s now in my office. But I don´t have pic yet.
Here is a picture from the same model still in "service"..... (It´s ugly) |

| Awesome idea; why throw away a bad kit when it can go to the boneyard! |

| Nice Build and a very good model. You truly get what you did to build this model. While the directions way understate the amount of time you will spend making the model I would recommend this plane to anybody. I must say that this is one of the best models that I have seen in a long time.. The pieces are formed and fit with an amazing amount of precision and this turned out to be a beautiful model that is closer to the real thing. Click here for more. |
