Are there any confirmed raptor deaths?
I've heard rumors that an f-18 up in Alaska scored a sim kill on it,
but I also heard that was BS.

Also, I heard (lol) that an F-16 scored a sim kill at Red Flag on one,
because the agressor (f-16) regen'd so fast the raptor basically had
no time to identify since he had just killed it?

can anyone confirm/deny?

Of course there have been numerous simulated Raptor "deaths," mostly in simulated WVR encounters. (we aren't talking tens or dozens here...)

Look at it this way, while the original F-22 pilots were experienced F-15 pilots, at this point there are pilots going straight into the F-22 from flight school.

Do you really think these guys don't make mistakes? Even with the advantages an F-22 offers, an experienced pilot in a 4th generation aircraft will have a good chance of beating the F-22 when it comes to the "dog fighting" that everyone loves so much to talk about...

The E/A-18G went outside the RoE and the F-22 stilled played by the rules. At Red Flag, it got 2 deaths, I am not so sure by, and the possible T-38 kill could count as one.
