anybody have any idea about the reasons that make the CADC caution light always on ,

if anyone have any idea or any question pleas try to help your friend

"Im assuming your talking about external ground power App.

Take switch from Maint to Norm and do pinch-pull FLCS reset ... CADC light will go out

Don't run external power without cooling air in Norm

T.O.s are online now ... get a CAC card reader, set up at home, and read them at home to enhance your knowledge!

Total temp sensor fail, CADC bit fail, AOA fail, Baro Altimeter input fail, you name it. Just check the T.O.'s

yes , we track the problem inside the fi , and the caution light came during flught control ops check and the jet just mlu`d ,,,

all solution in fi has no affect

your assuming is right ,

and we did what you said and light still on

we apply ext, pwr without cooling.....

cadc , rdr alt , eca , aoa both , total temp prob, fwd avionicxmatrix #2 , flcc, flicht control control panel , vvi , aoa ind , are replaced light stay on


wiring check performed between all wires no negative results found

that make us crazy

as i said in previous post we replaced all concerm=ning lrus no positive respnse ,, T,o has no further maint

and i would like to say the caution light came after 8- 10 sec since the main power to on

we track the power schematich duagram and we test the concerning relays the relay and the base and also we replaced them but light stay on Shocked

check the cadc to engine wiring. cadc sends mach signal to engine any short to ground would illunumate the caution!

in fact we didnt start engine yet, the jet just modefied , and we have to pass al ops checks befor starting engine ,

for cadc problem we didnt check the links between the engine and the cadc , can you pleas guide me how to reach the wiring or the schematic

it says you r2 the radar altimeter, i hope you meant just the altimeter, different system. i agree with the above if this is a typo, its about all you got left. good luck! Smile
