Hi

Has the AGM-130 or GBU-15 been carried with targeting pod on a Viper? The most obvious would be a Delta model Viper?

TIA Cool

I've seen a picture of an Edwards test bird dropping a GBU-15 so it's at least been tested. The kicker is where to put the data link pod since a jamming pod is normally carried where the Mudhens put it, on the centerline station. For best coverage, that's probably the best location.

Centerline is the natural choice, unless you are to give up one of the underwing stations?

Anybody seen pic's of it carried on, say Israeli Vipers?

Doesn't IDF and possibly other operators use the added 'under-wing' self-protection EW systems? So maybe if so, said operators would have the free centerline point?

IAF has EW in the extended tail base or dorsal spine, nothing under the wings.

I didn't think one would fit under a Viper...

Israeli (The caption is wrong. It is a D Block 30).
