I would like to contact a long-lost friend, Lt Col Michael "Nort" Nelson. Last that I know, he was with 9th Air Force, Shaw AFB, SC. I read an article in this forum that was obviously about him. Maybe someone out there, can supply me with an email addrress or ask Nort to contact me. Life is getting shorter by the minute, and I'm trying to contact several old Air Force friends. Donna, were you able to contact "Nort" or find his email contact information? I know Nort suffered some medical problems last year and I wonder how he is faring at this [Link pending approval] am also trying to locate his friend Pete Mock who was last in Texas to my knowledge.

Hi Patricia,
No luck with contacting Nort. I did read something in this site about him having medical problems. That is so sad. I hope he is doing well now. Heck, I'm almost fifty and if I remember correctly, he was almost twenty years older than I. So, he must be getting up there. It's hell growing old, but at least he made it this far. I don't know that "Pete" guy. I hope you have better luck with your search, than I did. Thank you; have a lovely day. |

| Just ran across this site researching information on my Grandfather, who happens to be Nort & saw your posts. I hope that you all were able to contact him successfully from the e-mail provided. He is doing much better after the incident he had last [Link pending approval] thought we were losing him for a while but if you know him as I do, he fought it out! Pete lives in Las Vegas, NV now with his wife Betty. |
