PAF Fighters bombed and killed nine insurgents while attacking several hideouts near A'stan border. These sites were in the Orakzai tribal region, ruled under the Taliban. One of the bombed houses belonged to the local taliban commander, Aslam Faruki, it is not clear if he's one of the casualties.

Orakzai it's the ops base of Taliban Chief in Pakistan, Hakimula Mehsud, who might died in a raid earlier this year.

Any news regarding the units or type of A/C involved... bet it was... VIPERS!

Vipers have been involved a lot, contrary to allegations made by Gary Ackerman this past week.
Here is an older clip showing vipers hitting tali's with GBU-10's

Currently there is a nation wide exercise in progress with every air asset involved, so I doubt there would be any "actual" combat for the PAF. The last known attack on tali forces was about two weeks ago methinks, involving A-5 III's.
