Hello all. I am in AFROTC and i was talking with one of my fellow cadets about the lovely F-16 fighter jet. One of the questions that we both have but could not find an answer for was where do pilots get certified for the F-16. I figure it is one of the Air Force's Air Bases, but i couldn't find out which one online. Thanks for any help you can provide me.

Most go to Luke for the B course although some go to a various few guard bases.

Yeah. For the Viper it's Luke for most of the AD studs and studettes, and Lackland (the 149th FW formerly at Kelly) for others. Tucson used to do ANG training but have moved to mostly international stuff now. I think it depends on what training slots are available where, but don't quote me.
