Hey everyone.

I've noticed that someone wonders how to store theyr patch collection. I can tell you how I do it...

I buy giant clips frames...and place the patches inside for great display on my otherwise naked walls. See photo!!

thanks...

Hello erikbye

Do you actually mount the patches on the white backing paper or does the clip frame hold them in place?

I have to attach some scotch tape on the patches so they'll stick to the white paper....it seems to hold up just fine.... in addition the glass frame provides some form of preassure to hold the patches in place. It works great....-jon

Over here I just use a CD storage map... You Won't be able to hang them on the wall, but it works fine as well Smile

CD storage map ???? Care to explain.

Jon, Are you interested in this patch (It's hard to find and genuine!) as I couldn't make out if this was in the image of your patches you posted in this thread.

Like a ziplock bag, but only smaller and 4 on a page. You are supposed to enter the D and not the covers or the case Smile Except that I just insert a patch and not CD's Smile

Annelin, you have a very nice collection displayed here. Did you mount these patches Question

I've spotted a several amonst your collection I'd like to get, but I guess I got to keep on looking as they'll be hard to find or very expensive to buy! Wink

I use plastic 8 1/2 by 11 sheets. They have slots to put 4 patches. They are like a CD storage case. But they are clear. They have the 3 holes for putting in a standard 3 ring binder. I bought mine at the local office supply store. But here is a link to a company that sells them online.

Thanks for the input.. I was looking at something similar. I assume you have a lot of pages then to show your Special Op's patches? Would be interested to know how many pages you have per binder if thats how you store them and where you keep them.

Idea Another idea was that there are good quality postcard albums which hold about 100-150 cards which could be used.. But those are kind of expensive and require considerable storage space.

I've got a lot of patches, but would need to take the time to sort through them and work on a particular topic area and collate them. But then I've got the problem of where do I then store them...

The plastic storage box method works fine for me now as I can shove them under a bed, hide them in a cupboard or allocate them a place in the attic.
