| On retrospect, I meant "F-14D Quickstrike". I had a brain fart when hitting reply. |

We should pay attention to this point that even though the F-22 is a good fighter but we shouldn't disregard the potential of the other fighters.
For example in the war between Iran and Iraq one F-5 TIGER 2 could explore one MIG-25 FOXBAT of air forces from Iraq.
So my friends, notice that F-22 have a lot of competitor such as: MIG-31 , SOKHO-35 & SOKHO-37 or PAKFA PLAN.
Although SUPER TOMCAT 21 is a wonderful fighter but we should notice that F-14 fighter in Iran-Iraq war could not be became victorious against an Iranian phantom 2 that was intercept p-3c.
So it is fairly enough to say something about this issue:
SUPER TOMCAT 21 was suggested as a one better kind of fighters for competition with f-22 and it also was given 90% of abilities and powers with 60% of the whole costs.
there were some agreement about it that according to them it should accepted some more changes in its cabin and sensors and the level of its sensors should became less than the others. Also it should become equipped to improved motors (fmo-ge-129 that let airplane to scrolling clouds.
It means that it could fly with an extra speed and finally equipped with the buoyancy victories without turning on the fuel that are used before [Link pending approval]
the other unique features of this recommended model were: foretell for assembled a bigger producing unite, the bigger sides in the back of it, bigger wings in order to increase the capacity of inner fuel
, various fighters, a place for paneling on the flight helmet with twice as powerful as APG- 71,
also the FLIR pods were assembled for offensive missions. |

I can only quote Chuck Yeager, "It's not the plane it's the pilot". Although on the whole I kinda liked his post. |

For the first point, a MiG-25 if caught down "low and slow" is not a particularly capable fighter if it gets attacked. If it is at speed and altitude, although an F-5E has nearly zero capability against it. A parallel may be drawn from World War II and the combat history of Germany's Me-262 jet fighter.
Regarding your second point, any fighter, no matter how good, is going to be able to kill every target it encounters. Even the F-22 will not be able to knock down every opponent it sees. Since your location is listed as Iran, I recommend you research the history of the IIAF in the conflict with Iraq. Your F-14s did very, very well. So much so that during the later Gulf War, whenever USN F-14s lit up their AWG-9s Iraqi aircraft would immediately break off and withdraw. The IIAF's success with the F-14 is also why the US was so worried, when the F-14 was retired here, than any components might find their way to Iran. That's why the Tomcats were so extensively stripped when donated to museums. |
