Very true, and I'm glad I'm not stuck with chasing fiber channel problems on the new stuff. I tried turning out the lights and looking for leaks but it didn't help!

Chasing fiber isn't that bad. We got a cool light meter we use that works well |

first replace the launcher
then what about testing results of jg94-74-14?
additionaly perform " Wing Weapons Pylon Operational Checkout" jg94-34-14
Pylon Connector and the umbilical can be inspected for loose or bad pins
finally check that sta3 sensing conductor circuit breaker
pls provide result
good luck.. |

I have to disagree, I have never had the TDR solve a problem for me. On fiber on the other hand, the new OTDR are suprisingly accurate.
Chuck, if you have exhausted all the troubleshooting in the FI and nobody in your shop can help, the next step is your AFETS rep if you are USAF and your CETS rep if you are an international customer. If neither of those are available, call the Falcon Hotline. The FH help desk is there for a reason. |

You should do a (W52) Video test to narrow down whether its the pylon or aircraft wiring that has the problem If that doesn't provide anything try the (W13) Video Switch Test. Thats really all you need to do to track it down as the 75501 tester is mechanized to furnish AGM-65 video.
Many AGM video problems are at the Video T connection in the wing.
Cheers,

| I would run a 501 through the pylon, then into the wing. Like someone said usually it is the t in the wing but 65's on a 16 are a nightmare |
