Do qf-4's ever air refuel? Clearly not without a pilot and I know there really isnt a need to do so, I just wanted to know if its ever occured. Be interesting to see a qf lined up behind a kc-10 or 135.......

I seriously doubt that money and effort was expended to qualify the receiver systems for use agin.

A business effort is what the TDY is called when we take a tanker and crew to a base that has no assigned tankers and fly everyday attached to that unit, usually for training. Eglin has a tanker down there almost every week, Edwards does when their assigned tanker is in PDM. Also alot of the fighter bases will have us come down for a couple of weeks when they are spinning up for a deployment so that they can have a dedicated tanker for their training that is flying on their schedule.
