NO, I was trained to understand don't be a dumbass... me and the guys I worked with just realized that it safer to to do it right the first time then screw it up and have to redo all the ops checks again for being stupid.
As far as walking up on these guys I've been there and found guys that worked for me in a similar situation, next thing ya know , jets trying to jump off the jacks! I've seen flightline guys do it, phase guys do it and Depot guys do it....
My original point was, why beat the newbie up for wanting to share some pics that he was proud of, thats all!
Oh and if I would have been this guy and got caught I'm sure I probably would have and should have had my a$$ kicked..... and yes those were the days... My flight chief at Hahn AB Ger. was one of those guys, took NO B.S. An old F-4 crew dawg from Vietnam!! One word... RESPECT

Easy chemix, you are correct. Those working the USAF jets don't understand what is required over in your Squadron. And yes, your jets are different than the USAF jets, more so than most understand. I appreciate you sharing your maintenance photos with everyone.
I had the most wonderful opportunity to meet with one of your Mass Properties Engineers one week. He was responsible for the in-flight W&B on the aircraft that took out the Iraqi nuclear site. What a perfectly planned mission, out of this world engineering and perfect maintenance for those aircraft. Those aircraft were maxed out well beyond their limits but performed flawlessly. We can nit pik your photos but we can never fully understand the level of stress you see on a day to day basis. This gentleman and I met after our 9/11...he expressed his sorrow for our losses, but also added this is what he sees most everyday for his whole life. I now have a much better understanding of your daily fight and will stand beside you as an ally. Take care 'chemix' and keep those photos coming... Pat |

Thats not nice Mr chemix, by the way i am not USAF (thats right not everyone over here is US) I am not familiar with regulations and TO procedures in Israel and cannot judge the switching and CB positions from a small picture , but still your working area is a bit messy.
take care, |
