I'm looking for 48 scale decals for Eglin Test (ET), with the red shock diamonds. I was also looking for more information about the 16's that I used to see at the Gulfport Airport in Mississippi. I'm not sure if this was just a contractor for upgrades or if it was an actual wing.
Off 16's, I'm looking for decals for Azrael when she is guns grey and four blade props for a 72 scale C-130.
In reference the 35's, we're suppose to be getting quite a few of them here at Eglin, as it's designated a training center from the disbanded 33rd FW (the infamous scatterers of Mig parts). Does anyone know what tail numbers they are going to be assigned (EG or something different) and do current models have this as an option already?
Alot for a first post but thank you in advance. |

There are no "ET" decals yet, but I believe Afterburner may be working on them. As for Gulfport, alot of units use it, but Alabama is probably its biggest F-16 user anymore. HTH.

Thank you for the response, I remember the 16s at Gulfport always seeming to be there and then one day they were gone, later that day we invaded Panama and they came back about a week later. For the life of me I don't know why buy I can not remember what base identifier was on the tail.
Reference the decals, I'm going to try to make contact with Afterburner and see if they have an ETA. |

Odie and others,
In regard to Gulfport. MS - this site is a CRTC - Combat Readiness Training Center just like Savannah, GA and Volk Field, WI and a lot of units from all US branches use it.
The OH ANG ( from Springfield ) and the IA ANG ( from Des Moines ) are also frequent users as well as 20th FW Vipers from Shaw AFB, SC. Other Viper units surely use it, as well.
Hope it helps.
Cheers,
Henrik. |
