I've seen a familiarization trainer with a strip of non-skid material on the cockpit floor between the instrument panel mount and the rudder pedals. I've also seen a flight cockpit with what looks like just an extra piece of sheet aluminum bolted in place. Can someone confirm what the actual flight configuration is?
