Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum.
I have decided to finally build a long-term item from my wish list, an early F-16A Netz from the IAF, as serving in the actions over the Bekaa Valley in 1982. Scale will be 1/32. I have the Isracast conversion set for the Netz, and have also ordered their decal set. I am fine with the camouflage and markings as well. What I am not certain about is what kit/combination of kits I should best use to model the Netz, nor 100% certain what the missile/fuel tank loads the Netz carried at this time. I believe there are 3 1/32 F-16s - Hasegawa, Academy and Tamiya. I believe the Tamiya kit is the most detailed. The Isracast set is meant for the Academy kit but can adapted to fit all 3 kits. The early Netz were block 5 and block 10 aircraft (and possibly a couple of block 15). What does this actually mean in terms of the actual aircraft? How easy is it to model an early block aircraft? I think there are possible differences in the air scoop/intake and elevators (neither of which are in the Isracast set) but need more advice. Do I need to cross-kit to get the right result or do I need some extra parts from the accesory market? Can anyone help? Many thanks to you all. |

| Small stabs, and small tail. If you have the Isracast set, then you should have all these options. Which stabs and tail come in the resin set? |
