I was wondering if anyone could shed more light on a story that I was told this past year. I was priveliged enough to attend a test of the ACES seat from an F-16D at Goodrich's Hurricane Mesa test track facility. They have in their possesion the forward fuselage of an F-16 that they use for testing both single and double ejections. The story Iwas told about this airframe is that that it was one of a series of ground fit airframes that were constructed early in the F-16's production. Supposedly they all still exist, save the rear of the one I saw, owned by a fellow in Fort Worth worth who also has a fairly large depot of F-4 Parts. I will try to upload pictures, but I doubt they will reveal much, the aircraft is painted up T-bird's style with Goodrich written all over. Any more info would be helpful
