I was reading over at FlightGlobal (sorry I can`t link from my phone) that LM unveiled an F-16 capable of refueling from a drogue. They apparently are trying to make the Viper more appealing to India, which has no boom tankers in inventory. The probe is stored in the CFT, and any Viper that has them can be modified for the probe.
