A short but sweet example of two classics flying in formation. Thanks. Maybe a longer vid next time! Respects to the pilots.

Yes good observation there - I think Poland use MiG-29As - although not sure when the engines were last upgraded.
Has to be MiG-29 Vs F-16 though - its like Spitfire Vs BF109 |

I guess they were smart to use F-4s as MiG-29s in Iron Eagle II- those Fulcrums sure can smoke like a Rhino! |

True, those do not seem to be the RD-33MK smokeless plants, but deserve performance respects nonetheless... |

| And don't forget: a functional and fielded HMCS and HOBS missile (the Archer I believe) years before the West ever fielded one. |

Thanks for that great video.
Poland has a hodgepodge of Mig-29’s acquired over the years from the Soviet Union, the Czech Republic and Germany. The ones in the video are the former German examples. None of the Migs are upgraded in the proper sense of the word. Modifications include mainly NATO standard navigation and communication systems and English lettering and units of measurement for the cockpit. |
