The pic link was dead but the story was there. It was really a good story, nice to see about her family background and her own as well. Bet she will be an excellent addition to the Red Arrow lineage!!!

I agree. You have to be one of the best to become a member of any demo team, and your selection is also a good reflection on you from your colleagues. It shows that you are that "total person". Congrats to her for her selection to the team.

I like the "total person" line TC, as we know all too often people are not chosen for that trait only for their genetics. I wish her well. Back in the spring of 2002 my unit was deployed for 6 months to Moron Spain and the Red Arrows were doing their training there. It was great to watch them practice every day and after meeting all of them, they could not have been nicer. In fact they held a drawing and ended up taking 4 of our unit members for rides. A couple of the guys were former fighter jocks and they got to ride along during a full show practice. The others got a normal fam ride. Somewhere I have a picture of all the Red Arrows formed up underneath me over Spain, plus there is a photo of a 10 ship pass that we did past over Moron AB taken from the control tower.
