Hey,
I'm eventually looking to join this unit. The recruiting sergeant told me that no visitors were allowed, but everyone I've talked to has said that it's very important to visit a unit you want to interview with.
Does anyone know anyone in the 187th FW?
Thanks! |

| I'm with the 187th. I live in the Atlanta area as well. Did you join or are you still looking for information? |

What kind of goofy recruiter told you that? Back in 2006 I was looking to transfer from the GAANG (no weapons shop anymore) into either the 187th or the 169th. I visited both without problem, and eventually went to McEntire. My purely personal opinion is that I chose correctly, but the 187th has good people.
p.s. - I just noticed how old this original note is. |
