Hi everybody!
I'm compiling info about Israeli Operation Opera, the air strike against the Iraqi Osirak nuclear reactor.
If anybody know any web site, document or whatever about this, please tell me.
I'm interested about flight plan, briefing, photos, armament used ...
Thanks!!! |

There is a lot that has been published on this topic. The two best books on the subject were as follows:
Dan McKinnon, Bullseye One Reactor (San Diego, CA, House of Hits Publishing, 1987)
Roger W Claire, Raid on the Sun (New York, Broadway Books, 2004)
McKinnon is a former US Navy pilot, and although his book was published some time ago (before the Israeli government had lifted its censorship over the names of the individual pilots involved in the mission), it has the texture of direct experience that can only come from someone who has been in the cockpit. Both McKinnon and Claire were allowed access to interview the pilots who flew the mission.
There are other books and websites on the topic, but these are the best two that I've seen. |
