anyone know where to get a patch cord or the items necessary to hook up an ipod? i've tried to use a 1/4" Y splitter jack, but it didn't work. it'd be useful when i cross the pond - thanks.
I have never found an off the shelf cord that will work, mostly because the headset/helmet hookup for military aircraft is different than civilian aircraft. We had our Comm/Nav guys make a couple up for us. Works great, on our jet we can put it on our second intercom channell, so the whole crew can listen if they want, and shut it off when ATC calls.

Any decent aircraft electrician or avionics guy should be able to wire something together after studying the COMM SYSTEM schematics.
