Now I know many of you have had a ride (flight) or possibly more then one ride (flight) in this great little aircraft, how about posting a photo of that flight here.

This is not a posting to talk about the incentive program (the Pro's or Con's surrounding it) but it is dedicated to sharing your flight photo with the F-16 community, what do you folks think, want to share that flight photo with us all.

I am just wondering how many have been "that lucky", I know there are many (least I think there are)...what do you folks say?

Tell you what, lets expand the field even further (in case many flew other aircraft - fighter types) just post a photo of you and the fighter you have flown in (for whatever reason you got that ride) here so we can share in that amazing event.

Thanks - Meathook

I'll start, here is my very first ever F-16 Flight at Luke AFB in 1986 (at that time, I had been working the aircraft for five years) , I was a Master Sgt, APG - Flight Chief of the 310th AMU and just won Senior NCO of the Year for Luke AFB

My ride in 88-0169 at Luke AFB. we were able to do a max climb to 18000, then did several "G" checks, broke the sound barrier, pulled 8.3 G's... then did a 4 ship fly by for Nascar at Phoenix international reaceway. was a great incentive ride!! and i didnt even get sick!!!

i earned my ride for becoming a DCC!! LOL, i kow, its not a great event, but my flight chief took care of me. i always worked weekends for him. for ROTC events and what not. i hooked him up, he hooked me up.

Here's mine. 87-0377 522 FS at Cannon. 19 Dec 2000. 377 was a spare for first go, hence all the baggage. 1.5 hours of fun, about 15 min of me on the stick. Empty barf bag.

Outstanding folks, I am very glad to see those photos. It is amazing how many actually got to fly, I think far more than most people think - you guys look great.

I would have replied sooner but was at my brother in laws (out of town) ranch helping with the herd of cattle for the past three days. I just love it there.

Thanks for posting - great photos all.

A great memory right here. Not many can say they got a ride in a D model with a backbone.

Eagle Ride - I know, I'm in the wrong forum....

But WTF? Why not post it?

Here's mine, 13 August, 1986. 1.8 Hrs doing 1v1 BFM (33rd TFW, 59th Squadron). Pilot was Capt. Frank Brady (with the glasses).

I got my ride by being a Tech Rep for 2 years at the 33rd. I guess I had done a good job. We were at Red Flag, and the subject of a ride came up with the Wing Commander (Lt. Col. "Paco" Geisler), and he said - "You want a ride? Why didn't you say so?". (I did, about 715 times - every day I was assigned there!).

Anyway - my ride didn't happen at Nellis, but after we got back to Eglin. The day afterwards, I was packing my truck and moving back to Texas.

The thrill of a lifetime.

Rocky

A buddy of mine (LMAero Tech Rep) recently got a ride. Here's a shot. Maybe some of you recognize him.

Nope - dont know him but I am glad he got that ride, I wish many more folks do.

Glad the Eagle treated you well, I got a Strike Eagle ride while at Deny Flight (492nd FS, deployed to Italy back in 1994), I loved it, it kicked my a$$ too (I was forty five at the time) I hurt for two days but wanted it all and I got it.

Good on ya and thanks for posting it.

Things like this just dont happen everyday to many so I know your proud it.

Later buddy - great photos
