Hello All.
The new Danish Defence budget from the year 2010 until 2014 include one sad thing.
The Danish F-16 force will be cut down from 48 to only 30 operational jets,
Also the final decision on which fighter to replace the F-16 will first be made in 2012.

| That really stinks to lose more than a third of their Falcons- any info on what they may want to replace them with later? |

Hello again.
At the moment the 3 jets from the original tender the F-35,F/A-18 and JAS-39 has delivered there final offer on ordre for 48 jet's, but in this new defence budget there is talking about looking at the price on new build F-16 or ex used US models NO block number at the moment.
As my Good friend Mister Viper(Henrik Gram) told me after sending him a mail, it is the old block 10 that is going out of service so it will only be the updatet F-16 block 15 that stay in service to around 2018-2020.

Probably not... But I would like to see Block 60's instead of the F-35. Same airframe, skilled mechanics that know how to fix it. Do we actually need stealth technology. From who are we hiding?
