All GE’s (100 and 129) had that WARNING in the cards for a long time … In my opinion the dangers of jumping the tube or pipe in the summertime with 100+ temps! (5 minutes after shutdown) is the prevailing wind blowing down the opposite direction. Frikking hot as hell … I like Pratts 4 minute criteria VS GE’s 18 minute! But both unreal. It actually takes more than 4 minutes to adequately inspect a Pratt and you’d probably die if you spent 18 minutes in a GE!
Never seen secondary ignition after shutdown ... but it makes me mad when a POL driver pulls up behid your jet as soon as he hears the motor wind down!
