Will ADG oil be low other than drain out from the ADG drain line?
Is ADG oil self contain? Can it leak out? |

When you have a question like this , i assume that you work on the plane. If you work on this lovely machine : please check your TO's. If you hate TO's use your eyes so than you will notice that a couple of lines run into the fuel tanks so YES oil can leak out and fuel can leak in.

| Let me help you out a little more since the above reply was about worthless. The ADG is self contained, it runs from the pump in the right geartrain to the left side, then up through the Heat Exchanger in the Aft fuel to for 2 reasons. 1 to cool the oil, and 2 to warm the fuel for better flow to the engine. If your ADG is constantly comming back from flight low and the bay is clean, the most likely source is it's leaking into that fuel cell..... |
