Hello Jochem,

These new tail arts applied just before this recent Anatolian Eagle Exercise.

Since vulture concept fits perfectly with SEAD mission profile, squadron is using vulture as their figure.

Looks pretty nice,

BTW, I can see the signature of Ataturk on both crafts, is that a coincidence or the machines of the sqn all have that?

Thank you very much Otto, I am glad you like them,

As for the signature, most Turkish aircrafts are carrying that signature, mostly on starboard side to avoid gun muzzle dirt.

Jochem,

Good news is a decal company is already scheduled to print some Turkish F-16 Squadron tail arts including this 151st squadron. I will personally provide artworks for all of them.

This will be their new shoulder patch with little modifications, I will post the final look of it when it is approved. Probably shape will stay only colors and wordings may change.

Best

I thought the -151 Filo was the "Tunç" Squadron...

I think that "Tunç" means either "Bronze" or "Shield".

I always liked the cool logo of the vulture, then IIRC, they upgraded it to show the vulture walking around with a HARM missile under his arm (wing).

I think the old logo was very historical. Maybe that Çelebi guy was in that squadron.

Here's the patches in the Patch Collection.

Nice pictures.... I wish we would have that as ours when I was stationed at Aviano It. with the Buzzards. Don't get me wrong, ours was cool I just think this was more along the Idea of the BUZZARDS!!!!

Once a Buzzard always a Buzzard, 510th FS 94-00, A Flt.

If it was Anatolian Eagle, prolly Konya.
