"Bangladesh F-16 drowned in a river", that's at least what the Russian website <a href="http://www.mda.ru/article/8484" rel="nofollow">Алмаз-Авиа reported</a>. (<a href="http://translate.google.com/translate?prev=hp&hl=nl&js=n&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mda.ru%2Farticle%2F8484&sl=ru&tl=en&history_state0=" rel="nofollow">Translation via Google</a>)
Well, we didn't know Bangladesh had F-16s (although they did <a href="news_article188.html">try to acquire some</a> in the mid 90s). And if they had one, well, no they don't anymore... |

Correct Henrik. It <a href="http://www.thedailystar.net/newDesign/news-details.php?nid=92955">appears to be</a> an FT-6 training aircraft and luckily, the pilot is not injured.
Although other sources <a href="http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/6/16/apworld/20090616162204&sec=apworld">also report an F-16</a>. |
| Description: |
| A mushroom cloud moments after the FT-6 aircraft went down in the estuary of the Karnaphuli yesterday. |
